The Leather
Our U.S.-sourced oil tanned leather is incredibly easy to care for. With time and use, the natural oils in the leather will rise to the surface, developing a beautiful patina and smoothing any scuffs or scratches that may have accumulated. Learn more about caring for your new leather product.
Our full-grain leather is the strongest and most durable available, and the unique texture and natural imperfections from the cow’s life have not been sanded, cut or shaved off. Full-grain is SIX times stronger than Buffed, Upholstery or Genuine leather.
Please note that our pebbled leather, like all of our leather, is a natural product. You may notice changes in grain or texture throughout your bag. Other companies artificially press a pebble texture into their leather. However, the pebbling of our leather is achieved naturally through an extra tumbling process which leaves some areas of the hide smoother than others.

I absolutely love my market tote in Dakota. It’s the perfect size for all my items and the color is a great neutral for everyday carrying.
Ordered a Lava Market Tote and it was absolutely exactly as advertised on the site. BUT I will probably not keep it. I ordered it because I want a Lava Mini Crossbody (which you cannot purchase on PLGs site anymore and I have not had luck getting one in mystery boxes). The leather and pull up on the bag are exquisite and I had planned to add a crossbody on the rings but the handles are just too long for my liking. So again the bag is exactly as they described, it is just me and I’m so sad I don’t love it because I adore the bag’s Lava coloring.
My favorite ‘looking’ tote! Love the o-rings that hold the handles. Only complaint…no key snap inside to keep my key fob handy like other totes. Foxglove is gorgeous, and I was lucky enough to score one with a perfect hide stamp hidden inside!
I love the market tote. It's very roomy, which is a must for me. And a little dressier than the regular totes (which I'm also a huge fan of!). It's also very easy to clip a little onto the ring of the tote. I like clipping a fortune cookie here to hold my key fob. Two thumbs up from me!
I can't say enough about this bag. The quality and size are perfect. It is soft yet stands up when set on a table. I love it and will buy it in more colors, coldbrew is so beautiful. I'd give this bag a 10 if I could.
