The Leather
Our U.S.-sourced oil tanned leather is incredibly easy to care for. With time and use, the natural oils in the leather will rise to the surface, developing a beautiful patina and smoothing any scuffs or scratches that may have accumulated. Learn more about caring for your new leather product.
Our full-grain leather is the strongest and most durable available, and the unique texture and natural imperfections from the cow’s life have not been sanded, cut or shaved off. Full-grain is SIX times stronger than Buffed, Upholstery or Genuine leather.
Please note that our pebbled leather, like all of our leather, is a natural product. You may notice changes in grain or texture throughout your bag. Other companies artificially press a pebble texture into their leather. However, the pebbling of our leather is achieved naturally through an extra tumbling process which leaves some areas of the hide smoother than others.

Love my Nora!! So perfectly fits under my arm and is really comfortable! I’ve gotten several compliments and have purchased two more Nora’s since. It holds more than I thought! Try it out - you’ll love it! My go to bag!!
Nora is beautiful! I love her funky boho vibe!! She is a bit smaller than she appears in photos. I carry a large Gucci wallet (I know! terrible) and seem to HAVE to have in my bags and it takes up a lot of space. So the large Nora might have been better for me. I love this one tho and feel super cool and hip when I carry it!
I'm not usually a small bag person (a friend teases me about my "monster" purses), but every now and then I need something relatively petite for evenings out or to drop into a larger tote for traveling. The Nora bag is a great size--big enough for my wallet and phone, plus the absolute necessities, but small enough that I don't need to hunt through the contents to find things. I had nothing to match grays in my wardrobe, and storm is a great intermediate shade with a little variation from the brushed leather to blend with both light and darker grays. And the leather feels so nice--love it!
There’s nothing like a shimmery high quality PLG bag. Swoon.
I have a small collection of PLG bags and the Nora is my favorite style. The crescent shape is just so cute! My first was this beautiful Merlot Nora, and I loved the look so much I’ve since gotten two more in Pebbled Black and Hava. Merlot is a great choice for this one because it holds its shape well, but I also like the slouchy look of more pebbly leathers. The Nora is pretty roomy for a smaller bag and looks great dressed up or down. It’s not the easiest to reach into quickly due to the curved shape, which sometimes also makes the zipper a little tricky work with. But I’m still crazy for this style and just can’t get enough of PLG bags. The many colors and textures of the different leathers they offer, that fabulous leather smell, and the consistent quality have made me a happy repeat customer.
